Meet Theo Kracke

Theo Kracke has dedicated his career to business development with an entrepreneurial mindset, building and growing successful ventures that have left a lasting impact in Santa Barbara and beyond. In 2006, Theo and his wife founded Paradise Retreats, a premier luxury vacation rental management company in Santa Barbara. What began as a vision quickly evolved into the region’s largest and most respected vacation rental company, managing over 130 high-end properties valued at more than $300 million.

Their focus on excellence, personalized service, and strategic marketing distinguished the company and fostered strong relationships with property owners and guests from around the world. After nearly two decades of success, Theo and his wife sold Paradise Retreats in 2022, concluding an extraordinary chapter in their entrepreneurial journey.

Prior to Paradise Retreats, Theo founded Techstyles Sportswear, a t-shirt printing company specializing in resort apparel. The company’s original designs were sold worldwide, helping to brand and promote premier destinations. Though he sold Techstyles in 2004, the company continues to operate successfully today.

Deeply committed to his community, Theo has long advocated for responsible vacation rental policies, striving to preserve the unique character of Santa Barbara while supporting its tourism-driven economy.
